Diane's god-given gift for putting words to music were nurtured in the
early 1970's in the "Keyhole" group in Houston, then the "Fisher Folk"
teams in the U.K. Trained musicians like Betty Pulkingham & Mimi Armstrong
Farra helped to write accompanying notes and chords for instrumentalists and
fellow vocalists - a talent she now has for herself, after her degree at
Westminster Choir College.
Often as she worked through melody and phrasing,
other musicians like Max Dyer on cello or Louise Jolly on violin would play along, contributing to the texture, timing and phrasing of the final
work.
Celebration has nineteen of her compositions
listedwith CCLI: namely Come Lord Jesus, Drop Everything and Go, God Has
Called You, I Am A Rock, I Want to Be a Child Again, I'm Not Alone, Jeremiah,
Listen Can't You Hear, Love Come A Tumblin' Down, Love You Dear Jesus, New
Bread, O Let Us Praise The Lord, Robed in Majesty, Sing Joyfully, Thank You
Lord, The Angel and Mary, The Pentecost Song, When You've Sailed Away, and
